Charleston – Day 1

Yes, we are back to Charleston to do all of the things that we didn’t get to do over spring break. We drove down, with Ariel driving the I-95 to the SC border again. We decided to hang out at the hotel for a bit (The Harborview Inn), then have a nice meal at Grill 225. Grill 225 is known for their steaks (which are delicious), but we wanted to go to try their Nitrotinis – martinis chilled with liquid nitrogen. I stuck with the Champagne Nitrotini, very similar to the Flirtini that I make at home. They even made Ariel a non-alcoholic version of one of their drinks. Kevin and I were able to tell Ariel all kinds of stories from our college days of what we used to do with liquid nitrogen.
